Potraits and Prints: Tas, Australia and Ireland
This gallery is a collection of social realism. Some of the portraits were painted in a portrait class in Launceston, Tasmania, and a couple of drawings from a coffee shop in London.
I could not resist trying to capture the types of characters in coffee houses and pubs. I play in a couple of pubs in Launceston as a musician at some great traditional sessions, and the pub scenes in this gallery are a labour of love for me, in which I have tried to capture the vitality of those music sessions..
